An old Chinese parable tells of a young man that inherited a beautifully crafted pot. He thought the pot was the most gorgeous thing he had ever received and proceeded to show it off to his friends and neighbors. Much time passed and the pot just sat on a shelf collecting dust, no longer as important as when he first saw it. Years later the young man died poor. He never knew that the pot was filled with gold pieces. It’s not how you look on the outside, it’s whats on the inside that truly gives you value. Look in the pot.
